Refugium Depth in 29 Gallon Sump
I'm in the process of planning my 29 gallon sump configuration for my 75 gallon build, and had a question in regards to the water depth on the refugium. My initials plans are for a basic three chamber sump, with the first being the overflow w/ skimmer, flowing through a bubble trap into the refugium, and finally into the return chamber. I was thinking somewhere in the range of 9 inches but have no rhyme or reason for it and was wanting to get other's thoughts on what I should be taking into consideration or if it even matters at all. Thanks
