Unhappy Do I need to worry about this crack? (pics inside)

I just picked up this 75 gal tank and noticed this crack on it. The silicone is sealed behind it. I did not do a full water test I just filled up the tank with a little water and tilted it over the crack and held it there for a few minutes with no leaks. Do I need to worry about this? Is there a way I can seal it. The glass comes up but I dont want to remove it just yet.

Thanks for any help RC!

Looks to me like a chip. You will sometimes see them come from the factory like that- but they will put a smear of silicone over it. Many tanks are chipped in transit as well- so many of us have the same situation. Bear in mind it does weaken the pane to futher blows- but it doesn`t look structural to me. Internet guarantee of satisfaction applies. The lfs looking at it in person would be the best definitive answer.

Thanks syrinx, and do I ever love the internet guarantees to convince me of what I think i already know! I just want to get as much feedback as possible, hopefully others chime in too. I am able to pull the piece of glass back, it is held in there by the silicone I want to maybe put some sort of glue in there so I know it will stay, but I also do not think its structural. I will probably bring it by the glass shop of lfs before I fill it up. And stay tuned for the Sean_South build thread coming soon! It will be very slow as I alott x dollars a week to buying equipment, but I think I am gonig to DIY the stand within the next weeks, very excited!

Its nice and round so less chance of growing. It doesnt appear to penetrate the silicone seal. I'd say go with it but then again its not my house.

Thanks for the input, I will post a picture tomorrow of how the crack can be lifted up, any idea for throwing some sort of glue or sealant in there to maybe help? Thanks RC!
