APEX Wavemaker doubt
Hello guys,
i have a doubt! The APEX wavemaker will turns on/off the pumbs to make the waves, thats correct? So turning on/off for a long period, the pumps can become unusable/broken? Or they´re prepared for this too? Tks |

It is best to get controllable pumps.

I use my Apex to control my Tunze 6205's. For waves, I have the pumps going on and off for very short intervals (.7 on and .4 seconds off). I have a number of profiles setup for different levels of current ranging from 30% power to 90% power. The key is as tkeracer suggested. Use controllable pumps. That said, leaving pumps off for prolonged periods of time let alone any time can increase maintenance intervals as calcium will build up inside the pumps when they are off. As such, I would not leave my pumps off for prolonged periods.

Nope. If you turn them on and off constantly, I dont think they will last long.
