Anrduino Development Boards
So I went online to finally purchase my control board,LCD Module,RTC,bread board and proto-shield from Sparkfun and it seems that the Duemilanove is "retired".Is The Uno the replacement to the Duemilanove?

Yes, Uno replaces the Duemilanove.
