Red Sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Skimmer
Hey.
I have a 40 gallon fish only salt water tank and was looking to get this skimmer. Its the Red Sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Skimmer. Is this a good skimmer? Is it worth buying new for $150? Thanks |

From what I've read about them they are not that good. I would look at the sro HOB skimmers. I'm running the lx1000s on my 46g and it really pulls out the gunk.

If you decide you want one, I have one I'll let you have for 50(shipped)... It came on a tank I just purchased from a buddy he was using it on a 55 gal(I wouldnt use it on any thing larger though)... it worked fine(pulled a good amount of skimmate) it just needed attention daily as water evaped etc from the tank.
