I definitely would not run any aqurium without a Protein Skimmer. Its just one of those rules in my mind like driving with my seatbelt on.

I have an IN-180... On a tank that is a 180!! I discussed this with the online store I purchased the from and they said that there is no reason to go bigger just get this one and you will be happy. (Bigger is more expensive, I thought for sure he would say to upgrade to larger) I am impressed with this skimmer...

This is 2 days of skimmate

Very nice! I think that I am going to stick with the Bubble Magus because the rated Protein Skimmer for my aquarium is adjustable and from the reviews I have seen the lowest rated model on the Eshopps is not adjustable. Also the Bubble Magus has the smaller footprint since the pump is integrated into the Protein Skimmersbase.

You'll love it. Be sure not to get the old model! Some still sell the MJ1200 model, you want the NAC with the pump on the bottom.

I will definitely look to make sure it is the correct model with the correct pump. Thank you for the heads up.
