killing off a coral

What can i put on an encrusting coral to kill it with out having to take out the rock?

Cool Killing Coral?

Why would you want to kill a coral? I thought it was the other way around.Trying to keep them alive is the real challenge of reef keeping.

True but sometime times you change your mind about the corals look are it is going to take over a nicer higher priced coral.

You can smother it with some epoxy. Eventually coralline will cover the epoxy and it will just look like bare rock.
