Pistol shrimp destabilizing my AquaScape :(
I have had a yellow watchmen and pistol shrimp combo for about three weeks and love them. They are fun to watch work togeather...although they do creat quite a sandstorm when in full construction mode...lol. My only concern is the excavating is causing my base rocks to **** slightly. All of my rocks are stacked on three large base rocks...
I am kind of concerned I am going to wake up to find it all colapsed. Has anyone had this happen to them? Any way to prevent it? |

I take a chunk of PVC pipe thats about 1" around. Glue some sand and rock on it with a couple of bends in it. And let them find it and call it home.

buy magic sculpt epoxy putty, its white, hardens under water and is non toxic. Also if you take a piece of small live rock rubble and stamp the epoxy, you give it what ever texture you want and make it look seamless.
