Now that the water quality is stable, all the live rock in the tank is set, everyone is looking their best. Mappa puffer, Clown trigger, Picaso (Huma huma), Majestic Angel, Desjardini....

Thank you Recty and humaguy. It is a 180 gallon tank, 55 gallon sump. Recty, I love that Clown, just hope he does not turn on me. I do keep a busy tank in hopes of keeping aggression down.

Where do you get your clams?? grocery store??? I live at the beach and would love to dig live clams and even the little 1/4" baby clams and drop em in the tank. CAn I do this???

my local crocery store sells clams like that. so you could go to the store and pic them up

could you physically do it? yes

Should you do it?? no, because when you take something out of the ocean and put it in your tank than u never know what it has on it. then whatever it is could transfer to ur tank and spread their. if u feed them multiple times then you have that many more times to risk introducing something into ur tank. IMO

I buy and freeze. I honestly have not considered or looked into issues with the uncooked seafood and spread of disease. I just figure freezing kills most potential disease, but now you have me wanting to look into this.
