pump reccomendation
I need a submersable pump that will give me about 1000 gph at 2' of head pressure. Something that is not an energy hog would be nice and cost is important too. I was looking at water blasters, but heard enough real bad things about them to back off. Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a Laguna Max Flo 1500. It will have a little more flow than that @ 2'. This is the same basic pump as a Red Dragon for a small fraction of the cost. Search for Max Flo 1500 on that popular auction site for a good deal. You can also find them on Amazon.com.
You just use the pump and toss the clam shell thing. Another option is a Sicce Syncra 5.0
