Lamotte Ca says 619!!

Can this be right?
I just opened a Lamotte model CA-DR code 3609 test kit and this is the reading I achieved x3 (120 direct read x5.16).
I finished up my Salifert kit which last read 390ish . There is no precipitation in my tank and no apparent ill effects.
Does this sound right or am I doing something wrong?!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

BTW, I start w/ 1ml tank H2O then add 11.9ml of RO/DI to bring to 12.9 total volume
