Need help with dosing pump

I have an Aqua Medic dosing pump and the rollers keep forcing the hose out of the housing. Does any have advice for dealing with this?

rolling it out or forcing it out the front? Is there a cover on it? I'm not too familiar with that pump.

Every time the roller goes around the hose slides further out at the top. It forces the cover off.

Get rid of it and get a Bubble Magus. I had one of their pumps for an ato - nothing but trouble. The motors are so underpowered they can barely turn the spindle even when lubed to the hilt.

Sounds like your hose could be flat - how old is the santoprene tube? You can try taking the tube out, reversing it 180 degrees, re lubing it, putting it back in, and putting the cover back on. Might have some effect, but if the tube is older than a year or two, it might be so flattened out that you have to replace it.

Make sure you have an air hole in the top of your container, this was happening on my bubble magus because it was basically air tight, every time the pump ran it created suction and made the motor come apart.

The tube is brand new. This problem happens even without the cover.

Lol. Have you taken a look at the spindle head? Mine broke from constant the constant rapid back-and-forth of the motor when it would get stuck. If the roller head is cracked/broken, it might push the tube out. Other than that, you might have to replace the tube.

IME its one of the worst products aquamedic sells. I have seen them a week old do this.
