Long term use of FRP in aquarium?
If anyone has experience using FRP in the aquarium could you please let me know if you had any issues. Can it be used in the bottom of a sump or bare bottom aquarium? Will it break down or release anything toxic to livestock?

fiberglass reinforced plastic. It is the stuff used in cheap shower surrounds and commercial bathroom walls that has a shiny orange-peel texture. I don't think there would be any issue, but maybe post in chemistry and see if Randy has any thoughts. Obviously it is not structural, but shouldn't break down that I am aware of. If you are thinking of using it as a safety bottom for glass tanks, seems like a good use to me.
