What are your tank dimensions? Are you looking for a DIY or ready made fixture? I am also setting up 180g (48x30x30), so asking the same question myself.

I have narrowed it down to Ecoxotic 100 watt pendants or Maxspect G3 (coming out next month).
I know Ecoxotic are nice lights, I have seen them in person, very bright and just the right amount of blue look, but clean look installation is going to be a challenge, and there is not much info on Ecoxotic site on these lights. Total cost including installation approx $2000 Maxspect look very nice, easy install, easy to control color and intensity, but not sure how bright they might be, I plan on starting with 4-modules ($2000) but have a feeling, might need 6-modules to adequately light this tank, that will be almost $3,000 investment. Still looking at Aquaillumination, looks like king of LED fixtures, but cost close to Maxspect but installtion challange of Ecoxotic...... |
