If it is just from the powerhead blowing sand, it will clear up with a little time.

The tank should be fine, the sand storm will clear up in a day or so. If you have a filter sock that will help to catch the fine particles. You should also use a turkey baster to blow the dust off your corals and rocks.

The same thing happened to me several years ago and I lost one fish. Do yourself a huge favor and convert any suction cup holder you have to magnetic holders. I hated spending the money, but they work so good I'd NEVER go back to anything held up with a suction cup. They should be called suck-tion cups!

If you are using suction cups, I can relate. I have / had maxijets on them crap cups, they always fail... ALWAYS. I ended up using a cleaning magnet. Glued the maxi holder on one side and used the other side to hold it in place on the dry side of the glass

As I am a White Sox fan and your Twins always beat up on my team I wish I cold tell you that you were in for big trouble, but most likely everything will settle down OK soon. This has happened to me before with no real bad effects. Good luck and go SOX!
