The problem is likely not the lights, although you could get away with 150w halides if you were looking to save on electricity (at the sacrifice of the dimmer bulbs). Your problems are probably elsewhere. What is you lighting schedule? How old are you bulbs, and what brand are they? When you say "wont color up" do you mean they are brown, or they appear bleached? What is your stocking list and feeding schedule? Do you run gfo, carbon, biopellets, dose bacteria or vodka? What are you tank paramaters, and what test kits are you using? How old is the tank? If the tank is new, is the LR from a mature established system?
Your probably not getting many responses, because you don't have any details. There are so many threads on SPS not coloring up right now, that people probably just don't feel like asking 20 questions again. Which is why I went ahead and did it . I'm sure others will ask you for more information. Let's start there, and maybe we can help you figure it out. You will also find many good reads in the SPS forum and the chemistry forum; threads where people are having the same problem as you. Do some reading, post some info about your tank, and that will give things a good jump start. Nate

I guess csharps42 was in a real hurry! Original post at 11:47pm and the follow up questioning the lack of responce at 12:01am, all of 15 minutes later... and then nothing?
