Received new BK 160 Mini today and have a few questions

Hi,
Received new BK 160 Mini today and was wondering if this comes in its own box from Bubble King. Mine came in a large box with packing material and was curious if this was repacked or not. It also came with no instructions, just a pamphlet.

I just want to make sure this is on the up and up.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks.

Is it supposed to come with an instruction manual? All I got was this?
looks like it was for Britain.

That's what you get. Run the skimmer with the wedge pipe 100% open for 24hours. Then you can start to raise the level by closing the wedge pipe in small incruments. Each time you make an adjustment let it settle for 15-20mins. You might want to look into the tee from the bottom and adjust the wedge pipe so it is 100% open. After during this take a sharpie and make a line on the wedge pipe and the upper white ring which holds the pipe. This way you will know how much you close the pipe when making adjustments and once you have it broke in and adjusted make another mark on the white ring to match the red pipe mark.

Thanks a lot for the comments.

I hope it isn't too much overkill for my 39g tank with 12g sump.
