Fish with injured lip?
So I took a good look at my Yellow Watchman Goby today and I noticed that his lip looks like it's injured. It may be from when I moved him from quarantine to the main tank, but I am not sure. Does this look like something that I need to take him out and treat for, or do you think he will heal on his own in the main tank? Any feedback is appreciated, first injured fish.

Really concerned for this guy, and hoping I don't have to put him back into QT. |

Hard to say, but IMO leave him in. If he can eat he will probably heal on his own. If he can't eat, he is a goner anyway.

Thanks for the response. He seems to be eating pretty well, although I can go a few days without seeing him. He was a pain to catch in QT, I can't imagine getting him out of the DT with all the rocks and crevices he can hide in. Hopefully he'll make it.

I concur with tlo25. I had one of my tangs injure its' lip and as long as the fish eats, I think the lip will heal on its' own.
