I can't tell the difference between a atlantic blue and a purple. When your color blind they look identical...

Purple tangs have more of a "snout" on em.

You think I should hang on to this fish or swap it out for a blue eyed kole. 120 gallon 4x2x2 for the tang. The roomates are a blue hippo, yellow watchman goby, and black and white damsel

I would swap it for a blue eye kole. The Atlantic (( along with your "hippo" )) will get too big for your tank. Plus, they can get pretty nasty the larger/older they get. They can get surprisingly huge, I was shocked when I saw a bunch of them while snorkeling in Puerto Rico.

Gorgeous fish... but +1 Todd.
The blue eye kole is just as good and would be quite happy in your system.

It will probably be a nightmare to catch and looks good in there so I might just wait a few months until it gets a little bigger to take the whole system apart to catch it. Ohhh decisions decisions. Maybe I should even get rid of the blue hippo too at that time...
