ATI Lighting and Bulb Recommendation???
I am going to upgrade my bulbs to New ATI Bulbs...
Currently I only have a 4 Lamp system, but will upgrade to a bigger one later... I have a 2 Part Question... 1) Should I do a 6 or 8 Lamp Setup, when Im ready??? You can see what I currently have in the Pics, but it is fairly New and I will be adding some SPS as well as more LPS and Fish...maybe a few more Softies too. 2) For NOW...since I have 4 Bulbs...would you recommend 1 of each that ATI has, *Aquablue Special, *Blue Plus, *Tru Actinic, *Purple Plus Or would you recommend different bulbs??? I feel I have enough in the tank to benefit form all the colors...BUT I honeslty have never used anythign other than the standard 10k Day and Actinic... As I mentioned...Im New and looking for the Best Color for my set up currently... Thanx

For 4 bulbs I would run 2 ati blue plus, 1 ati purple plus and 1 kz new generation.
HHow many bulbs total will depend on tank size. If your tank is 18" front to back then go 6 if it is more than that go 8.

Thanx...
I have been reading that the ATI Actinic is not all that Great... So I will look into an additional Blue Plus and the other bulb you recommended... Thanx for the tips and recommendation of the 6 vs 8 bulbs... (My tank is 21" Wide...so that is a tough descision to go 6 or 8...) |

I have a Nova Extreme 6x54 over my 90 gallon
I run 4 ati blue plus 1 ge 6500 I UVL actinic Ill post up some pics later so you can see, but I think its looks awesome! |
