Shrimp help

What kind of shrimp should I get? I am looking at a cleaner shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, or a coral banded shrimp. What are the pros and cons to each shrimp? Thanks a ton

Well, you do not want a coral banded shrimp as they can take both inverts and fish. A couple of cleaner shrimp would be terrific.

Well if it were me, I would get another. I would also look at alpheus soror pistol shrimp. Excellent cleanup crew member and gorgeous.

These pistol shrimp aren't destructive Steve? I have never seen one of these, are they readily available for sale? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&x...og&sa=N&tab=wi

they are not destructive. I have a mated pair along with a mated pair of fire shrimp and a goby/pistol combination all in the same tank (240G). No issues whatsoever. All shrimp are excellent scavengers. Readily available? I am not so sure about that. I see them seasonally available, and I would get another pair for my larger tank when I next see them.
