red sea 130 or biocube hqi???????

i like them both red sea better filtration and skimmer, more flow

but hqi has 40 more watts of lighting im not sure which one to pick help me out?

Something to keep in mind when buying a hqi biocube is that a chiller is mandatory, there is no way around it. so before you decide, factor in an additional $150-200.

thing is with the halide i can keep any coral i dont think i can under red seas 55 watt pc lights

Hey Chris, let me correct a few misconceptions:
the bulbs are 55W T-5(in diameter)
You can keep whatever corals you want including SPS, LPS and clams.

wow thanks for that that really helps are you like a red sea rep. ? and i though tthey were power compact bulbs but they dont make that size so is it jjust red sea makes t5s like that to fit in there?

I am Red-Sea's rep..
I am not familiar with all the companies that are out there, so I can't give you an answer for whether other companies are making T-5 like ours.
I cannot recommend using another manufacturers products as I have no control over their QC.

I have had both and feel that the RSM was better built and nicer looking.
