Refugium Setup with Inverts Questions...

Hey Guys,
I have just setup a new refugium... Got the flow working just right... Thanks for help in other thread. I installed a ball valve in the line going to the Fuge... Worked well...

New Question.
I treated my display tank with copper 6 weeks ago. I had a major outbreak and had no other options. I do have live rock and sand.

I have been running carbon and Poly Pads for weeks, and it seems that my test kits show 0 copper.

Hence I tried a few snails in the new Refugium... They seem to be doing well. They have been in there for almost 2 days. The Nass. Snails are good. The Turbos seem to be climbing up and down the glass...

My question, how long would it have taken if copper was still present in the water for these snails to perish? From what I understand, it was told it was very fast?? Within hours??

Thanks for your help...
Steve

You would have seen it in the first 24hrs. By now they would be dead or almost dead. I think you are in the clear
