Feather dusters are filter feeders so lighting isnt as important as with snails , but will require some food.

I just learned a very valuable lesson, DO NOT dump dechlorinated water into the skimmer section on my sump. It makes the skimmer go nuts. It only took 2 weeks to get it stabilized. At least it's starting to level off again. Anyway, it allowed me to see that my tank is not as clean as it could be,What snails or dusters would be recommended as a cuc for my tank.

Iwill eventually have corals, maybe by Christmas, so I would like the snails and dusters to be compatible.

Thanks

the majority of snails are reef safe... what size tank do you have? Check out liveaquaria.com as they have a clean up crew section. I would just stay away from Turbo Snails as they get very large and can knock over corals, causing them to die.

BTW, feather dusters are filter feeders so you should wait a few months after the tank has cycled before adding them... if you get a few hitch hikers I wouldnt worry but to specifically buy some early on, there is a good chance they would starve
