Filtration for 20 gallon zoa farmer setup
Not sure if this should be here or the reef chemistry forum but....
I am setting up a 20 long that I plan to house 8-10 colonies of zoas and approximately 10-15 frags of each colony. The Fluval U series of internal filters are appealing to me but do I really need one if I run carbon/gfo through my BRS reactor and do regular water changes?? I really wouldn't mind buying one because the fluvals seem good but if the water changes/carbon and gfo are enough I wont bother buying one. I am also going to put about 5-10 pounds of good live rock from my buddies tank under the egg crate with good water flow from a power head. Any advice is welcome. I have never tried keeping an all zoa tank!!!! |
