Vortech MP10ES or MP10ESW with Neptune module?
Hey guys,
I am getting ready to put in a order for a Vortech MP10 but have a few questions. The pump will go on a 20 gallon for at least the next year. After that I will be upgrading tank size to a 50 gallon+, and buying a Neptune controller and another vortech MP10. My questions is, the MP10ES (non wireless) is $40 cheaper. Would it make sense to buy the on-wireless version right now, and just gut the ES since I plan to buy a controller down the road. Does the neptune controller allow non-wireless vortechs to work in syn like wireless vortechs? Input would be great. I figured I could dish that saved $40 towards a controller next year. Thanks guys. |

It must be a wireless model in order to sync up with the WXM. It must also be wireless to sync with another Vortech. The non-wireless models have no sync feature.
