Proflex model 2 sump question

Is anyone having issues keeping the water level in the 3rd chamber up? My overflow box is a reef octo 1200 with 1 1/4 drain all way down. Return is a mag 9.5 --> ball valve --> chiller (adds 6 ft head pressure) -->uv turbo twist 12. Im thinking total is only 380 gph return. The return line size is 1 inch id. The current skimmer is a coralife 125 (I hate it with a passion) Im looking at getting a swc 160 but im worried that the chamber wont stayed filled. Maybe im just going to have to use a eshopps s-120 But i really wanted to try the avast diy cone. Only thing i can think is to either remove my refuigm and go berlin setup or i dont know get another sump that puts the skimmer before the refugim. Any thoughts?

Do you have some kind of ATO? If you keep a skimmer in the last compartment you have to have one. I have a Proflex model 2 as well and kept my SWC 160 in the last compartment and it worked well with an ATO but the level still fluctuated a little between the times the ATO kicked in so I went to a separate refuge and put the skimmer in the middle compartment which never changes level. Another option is to put the skimmer in some kind of bucket and have a line off the main return plumbed to fill it up so even in the 3rd compartment it never changes level. One thing to keep in mind is the SWC 160 likes around 9" of water.

yeah idk i might move it to the middle but all depends. Might just get the s-120 and call it a day. If i need a bigger one down the road i will just replace it or figure something else out. I think it only needs 6 inch of water.
