So i bought this power head off ebay.

Yeah, it's big and ugly and i kind of regret buying it. Well, lesson learned trying to buy a cheap thing lol It's some japanese brand or something, "Resun"..

Don't like it, but i guess it will have to do until i get something better. Oh yeah ignore the fake blue thing in the corner lol, my gf bought it so i have to use it (For a while, at least )

LOL! I'm glad I read all the way to the bottom! I was going to comment that the PH was no worse than the plastic coral!

The PH is really not that big...I have seen WAY worse (on my own tanks!).

oh man, I made the worse mistake 5 months ago..just was doing shopping on ebay, but then when I got into the deep of saltwater education..I have ordered best vortech 40 brand. you will have good time with it man, good powerhead is important for the system. Don't skimp on these; plus, vortech power from outside the tank. so no electric issue

for a 24 gallon, a simple powerhead without a wavemaker would do on a tank that small. maybe a mp10 if you are feeling its a big deal. Other than that, a Koralia would do for a tank that small.

PS, if you have the money, get the MP10 cause its alot smaller than a koralia.

oops, sorry I misunderstood. yes, MP10 is good one, just invest on that for sure. it will help clear your extra left over food and waste

Dude, shred that blue thing up and say it got caught in the powerhead...
(gheez do I have to teach you yougins how to lie to your woman?)
better yet, actually run that thing through the powerhead that way you get rid of both in one fell swoop

P.S. I'm guessing since you went all "Ebay" on us your shipping chgs were pert near 25% of your cost ...

Every time I have bought something off eBay SW related to "go cheap" I have been disappointed witch the exception of replacement bulbs. Seems like all the other stuff is cheap knock offs from China.

True! my gf complains that i spend to much time working on my tank, which is true in a way but i'm starting to get her interested.... she likes feeding the fish cause i taught them to eat from my hand she got so happy when she could "pet Nemo" lol (gotta love my clowns then aren't afraid of anything!) but yea i think i have a better chance at winning the lottery then having her help with the tank or even care what goes in it.
