LED lighting for 10g
I was considering getting the RapidLED 6 LED Actinic Supplement Kit for my 10 gallon tank. I was planning on attaching it to the front exterior (angling it toward the tank) of the Odyssea 150w MH/14w T5 light that is currently about 6" off the water. The light fixture is 18" long and the tank is 20" long. Do ya'll think that the 6 LED Actinic Kit would be long enough (at 12" in length) to provide a decent spread of light? Would it be better to get the 9 LED Actinic Kit so that it spans the length of the light fixture? Also, would the 6 LED Actinic Kit provide enough blue light to be noticeable over the MH or T5 or both together? Finally, considering that the fixture gets pretty warm, (already runs a fan on top) would it be a good idea to get a small fan to run on the LED heatsink? Thanks in advance for your help guys!
