Hitchhiker Clam ID
This isnt a tridacnid im pretty sure.
It was attached onto a rock. Its pretty big... about 3 inches across? Has two holes, like all clams. I would like to know what this is, and if its harmful. Im pretty sure its a filter feeder, but any ideas? IMG_3838.jpg IMG_3843.jpg IMG_3844.jpg Thank you! |

Not harmful. It's probably an oyster of some sort, maybe a Chama species.
