Reactor pump placement.
I recently just purchased a BRS reactor for my GFO and carbon and a maxi jet 1200. I realized the maxijet is a bit too strong (GFO is flying everywhere) and even using the valve to a point the jet is making noise. So i figured i would buy another reactor to make my life easier changing the media and Tee off the pump so one pump for both reactors.
My sump is running out of room and i was wondering if it was okay to have the pump placed in my tank and run tubing to my reactors that are located next to my sump area. |

I put a T with a valve off my return pump to feed my reactor. I unscrewed the housings on the reactor and turned them sideways so I could put valves in the tubing so I could adjust the flow to each reactor.

I had the same problem. My lazy solution was to use the valve that came with the reactor then I drilled a few 1/4" holes in the tubing right after the pump. Takes some of the pressure out of the line, so far so good

Haha i just solved the problem by buying a T and putting it right after the pump. So half goes into my reactor and the other half back into the sump. I might just buy another reactor then run both reactors off the same pump.
Running one pump on both of the reactors with a t line should work right? |

You tell us if its working lol you can also add an extra piece of sponge to the GFO reactor to keep it from tublbing so hard.
