Thanks for the links... Very helpful... If it's a bad crab is there a way to trap it... I only saw it for like a min and it went back into hiding... I have been having a big problem with one of my zo colony's disappearing at a very fast pace... I feel this crab might be the issue since all others are fine!

CATCHING PESTS

I'd look at night at your zoas.. I bet you either have a zoa eating nudibranch (forgot name.. begins with an A) or a Eunicid Worm
it helps if you can use a red light so not to scare anything....

Good Luck.. and post pics if you can

If he already saw a crab, my guess would be a crab.
Definitely look in there at night around your problem area & see what you can find.

I have had a stone crab come in on a piece of live rock, and right now I have a gorilla crab that stayed hidden for so long, when we finally spotted him, he was 3 inches across the back. I have still not caught him as I am in Iraq and my fiance can't reach the bottom of the tank.

Its a good idea to start a QT. I will be when I get home.

Use a tall beer glass with a piece of shrimp in the bottom and prop the glass up against a rock. This way the crab can slide down into the glass, but can't climb out good luck catching it!
