hosting in a maxi-mini
Thought I'd share and see if others have had this experience. Wondering if the maxi-mini will be ok with this, or will my clown's love kill it? So far she is keeping the male clown away, but if she begins to allow him rub-time, I fear it might be too much for this little nem.
Thoughts?   (sorry, don't know why the pic isn't upright- *sigh) You can see where she's been "cleaning house" and is sweeping away the sand around the nem. Last edited by velfamily; 08/07/2011 at 11:40 AM. Reason: fix photo error |

That's a first for me, I've never seen a maxi-mini host any clownfish. I would be concerned that a fiesty maroon may be too much for such a small anemone. I suppose you could keep an eye on it and see if the anemone appears to be suffering, e.g. shrinking up, behaving different than normal, moving.

Interesting.... My maxis' close up at a moments notice after they are touched.
