As far as i know it's fine just you might not want to drink alot of it as there's none of the minerals there that we need

Realistically the downside to RODI is it tastes terrible. In terms of minerals etc....realistically unless you have a really oddball diet, you will get PLENTY of salt etc from your diet. You don't get significant minerals et al from drinking water sources. RO water IMO tastes great. RODI....blech.

RO is great. After the DI it tastes a little funny, but it's perfectly safe to drink.

Pure mountain spring water, no DI though, like Disc 1 said, tastes funny & is less beneficial than just RO water.

Get it when it leaves the RO canisters and it'll be fine. After the DI chamber, it kinda tastes weird and isn't good for you in the long run.

I should mention that my water I use for drinking is the RO not the DI... :-)

RO water is good to drink, RO/DI is not recommended for drinking water. It leaches out minerals from your body. An occasional glass is not going to do any harm, but long term consumption can cause problems.

RODI water tastes funny, because there is so little in it. Bottled water companies add minerals to their water to make it taste less funny. The truth is, that for water to have "no taste", it needs to approximate your saliva closely. When it has nothing in it, the water washes away your saliva and you taste "nothing" which tastes funny. Its like being in absolute silence... its kinda funny sounding.

Only if your diet consists of nothing else, but then you will have other problems other than the DI water. Just about everything we eat has minerals in it |

radical is correct.
DI will not suck the life out of you . That is an urban legend.
