Salt water
I have some salt water from my LFS in a 5 gallon jug sealed with lid.
Just wondering how long can it be stored in there for. |

Months, years, decades maybe. Some salt mixes have organic components (like vitamins) that can promote bacterial growth. Check the chemistry forum, I know it's been discussed. The stuff you buy at the LFS most likely is not one of them. In that case, the water can outlast the jugs.
