Too much Cal?
Hello everyone,
I tested my water and I have 600+ cal. Everything is where it should be. I only have coral, but not a ton. is this OK or should I be freaking out? Thanks

1st off, be sure your test kit is accurate (if possible test with another kit to verify). 600 is nearly impossible to achieve unless your magnesium is sky high coupled with low alkalinity. Please list "Everything is where it should be" numbers. High calcium usually is not an issue itself other than you will need to clean your tank equipment much more often.

- Back to the fishtank - I am using a reef master test kit that I just got yesterday. Cal - 32 drops is off the chart. Thats how many drops took to change the color. 26 drops is 520 in the test booklet KH between 8/9 Phosphate - .25 Nitrate - between 0/5 I am not home, so I am going off memory... I can't remember what the phosphate card numbers were, but I recall I was between the top 2 colors.
