Anyone Switch BACK to MH/T5 from LED?

I know there was a thread like this before but it was all current LED users saying how much they love their LEDs. We get it, you like your LEDs

Just wondering if there was anyone out there that has switched BACK to MH/T5 from LED and why? I'm about to pay for 2 of the Radion (Ecotech) fixtures tonight and want to make sure I'm not making a mistake switching over to LED.

Copied this thread from CMAS to the general equipment forum for a more widespread opinion.

I think you won't regret it and if you decide to go back i don't think you would have a problem selling that system. Good Luck, I'm going to also take the plunge shortly

I went from MH/T5 to LED (AI Sol Blues) to all T5s. I couldn't get the right color rendition or rather adapt to the AI's color rendition + my LPS started shifting in color under them. Back to T5s but I pre-ordered the Radions. I'm still a long-term believer in LEDs and hope the RGB/bulb mix will counter the AI's shortcomings.

i have twice, liked the colors better from the maxspect g170 but didnt give the coverage i needed nor anywhere as bright to the eye, and did it again with 3 AI sol whites, wasnt the color i liked so went back to t5's both times, granted i have a 8 bulb powermodule so hard to compete against it

I've had Acan Lighting and ReefBrite LED on my tank. I found the my SPS grew like weeds but my LPS were always in decline. I replaced them with a Hamilton Belize fixture with a 14kk, 150 watt mh and two ATI AquaBLue+ T5s. I"m much happier and my corals are ALL doing better. My SPS is growing but not as fast as under the LEDs.

I switched from T5's to LED (Current USA LED Pro strips), and will never look back.

I switched from Elos AquaTop with 4 LED strips to 6 x 24w T5. Although, I think the Radion's spectrum output is a lot different from white/blue LED combos. I do really like my T5s, though.
