skimmer not working!!!
so i just went to clean the collection cup on my skimmer and now it doesnt work. i put my reefkeeper in standby mode took the cup off washed it out put it back on and turned everything back on and now nothing. it is a used model so im wondering if the pump went out? should i get a new pump and what kind is the best for the turboflotor 1000 multi. i dont know what else could be wrong, I even tried plugging it into a powerstrip and nothing no bubbles in the column or anything.

Try blowing through the venturi tube.

i took the pump out and took it apart to see if anything was stuck in the needle wheel and the whole white shaft that runs through the needle wheel was broken so i think i need a new pump.

if the shaft is broken, then you just need to replace the shaft, no need to replace the whole pump.

whereee would i buy a new shat at? i think this is the older model of ocean runner pump. does the shaft just slide in?
