Keep AI Nano or Upgrade to Sol?

With the price drop it has started to get me wondering if I should upgrade to the Sol, I currently have the Nano.

My gripe with the Nano is that I need to raise it a few inches to cover my 24" wide tank (it's only 7" deep, though). Will raising it an additional 4-5" affect par too much and make the oute edges worthless? It's 70 optics, I believe.

If I get the Sol, it's a nano tank 7" tall and 8.5 gallons (ADA 60-F)--I'd probably run it at 20% intensity (if that) making me feel like the extra $100+controller was useless.

Thoughts?
