Par 38 6500 K LED for refugium?

I'm thinking about switching out my 6500K Daylight, 65W PC bulbs in my clamp light standard socket with Par38 6500 K LED. I was inspired when I went to Home Depot and saw Hampton Bay brand, but there are better brands out there. I really don't want any blue's, just daylight for the refugium only. I found that the price range is from $30-$160, would like to stay about $60-$70 range. Perhaps staying with PC's and spending $6 every 3 months is the most economical. Any suggestions? Thanks

I would still stay will PAR 38 LED for your case because the light intensity is more consistent. I always find out the CF is too weak ONLY after I start to see the macro are weakening or dying.

Anyway the current price for a 15W daylight LED is about $60 only.

Thanks WingoLED, I'll check into it. Any suggestions as to where to purchase from online?

Hope you don't mind me asking, but with a name like wingoLED, I'm sure you gotta know this question :-) I saw 2 different one's online that i'm interested in, one is a "NFL25 beam" and the other is "WHITE CREE LED Equiv 800 Lm" Is the NFL more of literally a "beam" where it is concentrated? What is the difference between the 2? These are both from eBay and they don't really get into detail about it and probably from China. Thanks.- Brian
