sump sitting next to tank
Anyone have ideas or fotos of sumps for 40 breeder sitting next to main tank not under stand . Thanks

Not a 40 breeder, but..
Up until June (( when I moved and picked up a new stand )) I had a 30 gallon sump next to my 75 -- the old stand wouldn't fit the 30. I built a stand to hold the sump, it wasn't the best but got the job done. Normally the shade was down, covering the sump.  Not the whole thing, but can see the shade down,  Similar, a 33 cube with a sump next to it.  Sump stand open,

I was picturing a sump "open in plain sight" when I read the post. That setup is nice and easy to get to
