100% RO/DI Wastewater?
I changed my RO membrane along with all my other filters. I added a shut-off-valve, pressure guage and booster pump and I somehow am only getting waste water. I tried pulling out the RO membrane to see if it wasn't in correctly but its fine. I disconnected everything and basically had my 1'st and 2'nd stage going into my RO and the same thing happened. Only waste water was coming out. I'm guessing that the water entering the RO is somehow not getting pushed through and simply all coming out the waste water line.
Does anyone know what could be causing the problem? Thanks! |

What RO/DI unit? Ususally a membrane isn't seated, but there are a million possibilities. Do you have a flush valve and is it on or off?

I was able to get the unit working for the OP. The unit was missing the restrictor in the waste line. Once we got that installed the unit worked fine.

It likely originally had a pigtail type restrictor which can be easily accidentally discarded. The op upgraded with a booster pump and solenoid which we plumbed in and a cartridge type restrictor so it won't easily be misplaced.
