Leather corals turning White???

so this week i noticed that my kenya tree that i've had for like 4 months has started to loose it's color, it is starting to turn white and the other 2 i have are doing the same thing. They are all fully extended and look healthy but they are loosing the color. the only thing that i can really say that i am doing different is i just started dosing the tank with Kent Phytoplex Phytoplankton and kent iodide. not sure why they would matter. hopping someone has gone thru this and can give me some pointers

Leathers turning white

If your not testing for Iodide don't add it just make regular water changes. You can add to much.

No need to dose if you do weekly water change. Softies are very easy to keep.

ok so i've been researching and yes everyone is against dosing iodide...stupid mistake for dosing when i should have researched first...but now that i have the problem i have to fix it. so should i just do big water changes this week to get rid of the excess iodide?
