Need help deciding one or two pumps

Setting up a 225 gallon and can't decide on whether to run one large external pump or use the two 1262's that I already have. I figured with two pumps, if one fails, I have a failsafe. Opinions?

I run a 40 PX and a 50 PXX on my 300. Smaller motors make less noise, plus like you said if one goes out the other is a fail safe back up.
