How to lower salinity?

So I went a little heavy on the salt and my SG is reading about 1.029. I took out a couple gallons of saltwater last night while messing around with different levels in my sump and thinking this would cause the SG to decrease, which it didn't. Do I just need to add more RO/DI?

Yes, you can remove a little sw and replace with ro/di water until you get it to where you want. Just dont do it too quickly.

Correct. Do it via 2 water change over 2 days should be OK. Make sure you put the RO/DI in the sump or high flow area SLOWLY.

If you have an ato you can just pull a cup or so out every now and then, then the ato will add the rodi for you
