New Sump build Questions
Uploaded with ImageShack.us Im planning on building this sump, any design adjustments i should make? All input is welcome, Thanks!!! The left side inlet (dark grey) will lead to a Filter Sock then possibly through bio-balls then to the skimmer section(yellow) through a cutout of the bioball chamber on the bottom. The right side inlet (light grey) will lead to a gravity fed ATS (green) which will have a flow adjuster valve and a runoff tube that drains into the refugium (orange). the right side is dedicatd to probes/ return pumps/ ATO/ and dosing (red). There are two baffles on the right side that seperate the return area (far right red) from the DSB/refugium (Orange).

I don't have experience with the bio balls but I heard they are bad, unless you keep them clean, live rock require no extra work. Id say go with live rock or live rock rubble.

The light would be hanging overhead or projected through the clear pannel from the outside. I was hoping that it would get enough light trough two overhead PC bulbs. if not i was thinking of supplementing another of those lights from the outer side of the sump shining through.
Thanks for the suggestions, Liverock in that chamber will have to depend on if i go reef or stay FO, but i might as well go liverock, its much better like you guys say.
