Cleaner shrimp

My cleaner shrimp has been hanging out by the overflow on my biocube hqi for days now and never goes into my rocks. I've noticed my clean up crew has basically spit shined my tank spotless. Should I be supplementing them anything else? I can't even find algae in the tank.
It's kinda annoying that he hangs up there catching food I guess.

If he's up there chances are he likes what ya have been feeding your fish and is trying to grab some before it gets skimmed.

Just use some tongs and target feed the little guy some fish food.

He'll relocate once he gets more established.

He established a cleaning station and is advertising that he is open for business. (assuming you have fish willing to be cleaned). Normally that is in the rockwork. Any other invertebrates that may be harassing him?

cleaner shrimp don't eat algae, you can hand feed them and they might even try to clean you, what other fish do you have

No fish as of yet. Other then the cleaner shrimp, I have two peppermint shrimp, a couple turbo snails, hermits, and a emerald crab.
What can I feed them?

my cleaner grabs whatever food I feed. He rarely moves from his spot though so maybe that is the spot he picked for you.

My turbos go to town on Nori (dried algae sheets). Get an algae clip from your LFS and the Nori from the asian isle in your grocery store, or the more expensive Nori sheets from LFS as well. The snails will find it quickly. Your shrimp will eat pellets, flake food, brine or mysis. Pretty much any fish food you put in the tank

you shouldn't need to feed them, they will fed off excess foods from the fish food. That's why they're here for.

A cleaner shrimp is pretty much part of the CUC IMO. "Cleaner" being the operative word. If it's a pet, then that's something different. Feed it!
