Which pump for a closed loop?

My tank is going to be 280 gallons 60x36x30 and I am going to be doing a closed loop. Cant decide on what pump to use for the cl. I was originally going to go with a dart but I dont think that will not give me enough flow for an sps dominant tank. I am thinking about a dolphin aqua sea 7900 gph with an om4. My thought is that I would rather have too much flow and then have to dial it back than not have enough flow and now have to either get a bigger pump or add ph's to the tank.

thoughts?

May i ask what made you decide to go closed loop? Aren't you concerned about a failing bulk head or leaking pipe behind the tank?

not concerned about failing bulkhead or leaking pipe at all. I decided to go this route because I dont want to hang powerheads on the 2 end viewing panels of the tank.

I am running a hammerhead for my closed loop. I have two additional bulkheads for the outlets and two for the inlets with screens. Once inside the tank, I split into six outlets all plumbed under the sand bed with two outlets visible but covered with rock work.
