Yellow Eye Tang...Sudden White Dots...Not Ich
My husband and I were watching a movie tonight and from time to time would look into our tank. Once moment we noticed that our yellow eye tang was near our Rose bubble tip and went crazy. We did not think anything of this and continued with our movie. After a while I looked back at the tank and noticed white/Pinkish dots all over 1 side of the tang. We know that it is not Ich as it is not on the surface of the skin rather a part of the skin is discolored. I have attached a picture of this. He is still swimming like crazy and eating off of everything like crazy. Does anyone know what this could be?? We are very concerned.
Thank you Holly |

Looks like he got a little too close to the RBTA. My PB Tang does that too sometimes. She always recovers.
