lighting suggestions

What kind of LED's would you all suggest for my tank? My 60 gallon is 36x18x20 I plan on adding corals down the road. I have heard great things about T5 and Metal Halides also some negatives like heat and the fans breaking on the fixtures. Yes I know they are expensive and that's fine.

I would go with two Aqua Illumination SOL Blue LED fixtures. I don't think a single fixture would be adequate. I have a single SOL Blue over my 50 cube and love it. I disconnected my chiller, the tank never got over 80.8 degrees this summer.

+1 on what the grun said. I prefer the white though.

Does blue or white matter? or is it just more so preference?

It is a preference. Many of us run our tank lighting in the 14-20,000K range (towards the blue spectrum), in which case if you go with the AI white, you would have your blue lights running at about 3 to 4 times the white light level. With the SOL Blue, the numbers are closer to even between blue, royal blue and white.
